What we do differently

Outstation fares in India have a reputation for growing on the way: a toll here, a state permit there, a waiting charge nobody mentioned. Gaadix was built around one rule — the number you see before you book is the number you pay.

• Fares from the same engine the app bills with. Every price on this site, down to the route pages, is quoted by the same pricing engine that prices your booking, so a page and a bill cannot disagree.
• Toll and state permit, named before you confirm. Choose a toll-inclusive fare or a lower one and pay at the booth — either way it is your choice, made in advance, not a surprise at a checkpost.
• GST inside the price. Nothing is added at the end.
• A small advance, the rest after the trip. You confirm with a 20% advance and settle the balance with the driver when you arrive. The cancellation and refund policy says exactly what comes back if plans change.
• No surge pricing. An outstation fare is planned days ahead; it should not move because of the hour you booked it.

Where we go

Today the site prices 35336 intercity routes between 467 cities in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Goa, and transfers from 30 airports. Any pickup and drop can be quoted live from the booking form — the route pages are the journeys people ask for most, published so you can see the fare before you have even decided.

The drivers

A driver joins Gaadix only after their driving licence, identity, vehicle registration, insurance and pollution certificate have been submitted and checked, and the dates on those documents are tracked so an expired one takes a driver off the road until it is renewed. You see the driver's name, photo and car before the trip, can call or message them from the booking, and can share the live trip with family.

Leaving at a good time

Many families will not begin a long journey during Rahu Kalam, and most cab companies have never noticed. Gaadix computes the day's favourable Chogadiya windows from the true sunrise where you are, shows them in the booking form beside the time you picked, and publishes a week of them for 38 cities. It is there if it matters to you and silent if it does not.
